On January 25, 2024, IMP Viet Nam Trading Joint Stock Company once again won the bid for the supply of the System of Support Arms and Support Pillars and the remaining volume of the category. The Starduct-branded cable tray system, made of ZAM K27 material, is supplied for Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company.

The Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 Iron and Steel Production Complex has completed 40% of the progress. The Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 project is expected to be completed in Quarter 1, 2025, with a Phase 1 production capacity of 1.5 million tons per year. The project’s total designed capacity is 5.6 million tons per year, including 4.6 million tons of hot-rolled coil (HRC) steel and 1 million tons of specialty steel.

Previously, Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company had put the Hoa Phat Dung Quat 1 Iron and Steel Production Complex into operation, with a total investment of VND 60,000 billion. After Dung Quat 2, Hoa Phat is researching the construction of the Dung Quat 3 steel plant with a capacity of 6 million tons per year, which may not be located in the Dung Quat Economic Zone, Binh Son District.
